The entertainment center is finished!

The entertainment center is finished! It's exactly how I pictured it in my mind, except the doors to hide the TV, but I contacted Dog Eared Primitives and he's making me some now.

It took me awhile to finish this because I had to paint the whole thing twice to achieve the look I wanted, but it was well worth it. From a distance the distressing is subtle, but up close you can see it very well.

I'm just adding a few pictures because I tried all day yesterday to get this posted, for some reason it wouldn't go.

I'm in love with it, the storage is crazy good, and I've only got 1/3 of it filled! Now the fun part of decorating it awaits, the stuff on it now is just temporary.

The large cabinet fit perfect in the office....

and we moved this little cabinet to another wall where the tractor display was. It looks so much better already, and we haven't even put anything in the large white cabinet yet, I'm waiting to give the inside a fresh coat of paint. The shuffling around of furniture just prompted Rick to sort through his pile and most of it got pitched! Yay:)

Happy Easter!

  1. It's gorgeous, Rhonda. I just love it and it looks like it has a crazy amount of storage space which I know you love. I really love when I can get hubby to get rid of piles of stuff so I know how you feel!
