Chair update & garage sale

I have been busy helping my daughter get ready for a garage sale the last couple of weeks so it's slowed down my chair progress significantly. But I did get to work on it yesterday for a bit and I just wanted to share what I have so far.

I am having a blast with this project, this is just right up my alley! I LOVE a challenge, let me know what you think?

With the garage sale coming up, my daughter's birthday, and the holiday weekend coming up I won't be working on my chairs for awhile. It going to be hard, because now I am getting really excited about the end result!!

    1. Thank you for your visit Mickie! I was on a roll yesterday and did not want to stop! I love it when I can devote a whole day to a project, because I never want to stop until I just wear out! Have a great weekend and thank you for my daughter's birthday wish! My "baby" will be 35. :(

  2. Oh yes, yes Rhonda, pick up those brushes and paint your life. It doesn't matter how perfect it turn out, it's the imperfect that adds soul and beauty to how we think, and I always say it's the best medicine to create something, be it an up styling to your chair, build something or paint something.
It's calling you girl paint with hands that paint the piece, let it paint you, don't paint it :)

    See you soon beautiful.

    1. Thank you Dore, if anyone can inspire me it's you. I am still blogging after all:) Your painting is beautiful, just like your soul. I have always wanted to try painting with oils, my daughter bought me a nice set about three years ago and it's still sitting there, unopened. I will, I need to get back to it, thank you for caring enough to leave such kind words:)

  3. I'm loving it! It's a great distraction from all the sugar and flour that is "decorating" my home right now!
Have a great holiday weekend, girlfriend.
