Ultimate inspiration, Key West

In March my husband and I took a week and just escaped from the cold and nasty winter weather we had this year.

The Florida Keys was on my bucket list, so we went to the southern most point in the USA, Key West, that's where we went to get warm:)

If you have never been there, let me just say, it is the ultimate destination for a little R&R! We loved it! The people were so friendly, the food was amazing, and the weather was just what we needed, sun shine everyday:)

There are tons of stuff to do on this little island. We kayaked, snorkeled, rode bikes or walked everywhere, so we were able to stay active, which is what we need to keep extra pounds away!

If an artist must get away for inspiration, this is the place to do just that. It's no wonder there were so many that resided in this funky tropical paradise.

I wanted to share just a few pictures that gave me a ton of inspiration.

Glorious color everywhere.....
and the peak season was still ahead

This picture was taken on our Wine & Sunset Cruise, it was gorgeous

Roosters running wild :)

The homes.....

were quaint, beautiful, love the white picket fence everywhere

The beautiful landscaping and trees

The cemetery was interesting
The graves are above ground here too, like in New Orleans

Resting on the cool stone:)

Of course, the ocean....

And we even found a couple of possibilities for my husband's future venture.....lol! I wish:)

I definitely thinks he fits right in!
