We all have been friends for about 35 years, our children grew up together, we've seen each other through highs and lows, we have always been there for each other. And even though my husband's work relocated us to Ohio 20 years ago, we vowed we would not let the miles come between us. We still have family back "home" and when we go back a couple of times a year to spend time with them, we always make time for these amazing friends, we will never find better.
As I've said before, I do love to cook for them, and this year Cavatini with fresh bread, pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting, breakfast casserole, bagels, banana but bread and home made chicken noodle soup were on the menu, I never let them go hungry! It's fun and I love pampering them, they are all busy women and give a lot of themselves to others. Three still work full time and don't have time to cook let alone get waited on. The other two, while both are now retired, still have busy lives, and giving them a break from all that is something I enjoy.
We shop, we talk, we laugh, we cry..........I love these ladies and I can't wait until next year!
