The pillows made from Antique/Vintage lace

These pillows are so fun to make, and you can embellish them with vintage/antique brooches.

They make nice displays for grandma's old brooches.

I found these rhinestone pins at Joann's yesterday and I think they look great on my pillows. As you can see, I did make a flower for the lace pillow. I made one for the antique rose floral pillow too but my camera died while I was taking a picture of it, and unfortunately that was the flower I added just before we left. But it looked nice and I'm so glad I didn't buy the costly pre-made ones.

This pillow is made from a cotton/linen with antique lace decoration

My flower turned out pretty good! This pillow cover is made from an antique table cloth that I bought at the flea market. I got a lot of mileage out of that table cloth and still have plenty left!

I added satin ribbon closures to this pillow cover made from a linen table cloth

Wish I would have gotten that picture of the flower for this one, I was so proud of myself! Oh well, there'll be others.

So leave a comment and tell me what you think?

    1. I'm dead serious about this: once my Baby Grands get past the runny nose/juice spills/puking stage, I will hire you to make pillows for me. Serious as a heart attack.

  3. I would buy them! But I too, have lots of lace and fabrics and ideas in my head for my own pillows. I bet they will be gone before you know it!
    They are gorgeous, Rhonda!
