Fashion? Yes, I think I'll talk about fashion:)

So I have decided to share a little fashion post with you tonight:) Why not, it's another passion of mine, and I should share my passions:)

Fashion has always been something that I have been passionate about. I have always loved clothes but I never had the money to spend on myself after buying things for our three daughters. As my
children were growing up, my wardrobe always consisted of whatever I could find in the clearance racks. I have always felt it was important to look my best, even if just for my own self and self worth.  I love, love, love clothes, shoes, boots, you name it.......I love it all! Now, don't get me wrong, I have the same belief in fashion as I do in decorating. You don't have to spend high dollar to feel good and look your very best.

I do believe in quality where quality counts, however, and there are items that I don't have a problem spending more money on. And it really does vary, depending what I'm interested in at the time. I never go crazy buying clothes, I generally buy what I need for a season. I have never been high maintenance, that's not me....at all.

Today I went shopping for a casual winter coat, one that I can wear with my blue jeans & casual boots. Yes, I wanted something trendy, because this is my winter coat that I will be wearing every day. This winter coat is the first thing people will see, they won't see my t-shirt I have on underneath. So first impressions mean a lot to me. I like to put my best foot forward!

I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a trendy coat, that is never a good idea, so I went with my
daughter so she could help me with my decision. I found several that were on sale, but at $100.00, I
wasn't ready to settle just yet. I found quite a few actually, that I liked, but I'm one of those who knows exactly what she's looking for and won't stop until she finds it.

Well, I found this coat at H & M, it's a trendy store, but the prices are perfect for trendy clothes, this one was $59.00.......much better! AND it was just the right length AND the sleeves were the perfect
length, not to mention that it had a hood and was lined with super soft polar fleecy goodness!

So, today, I bought my perfect winter coat to go with my new boots that my hubby bought me a couple of weeks ago and I think I'll throw on a leopard scarf......ahhhh, yes!
