The calm before the storm!

I haven't been doing anything creative for the last week because I have been too busy having fun! My oldest grandson was here for the weekend and I don't do much when he's around! Face it, he's soon to be 21 and at this point I need to make time for him, soon he will be busy living life and won't have time for grandma and grandpa anymore! I'm shocked he spends some weekends with us as it is!

Rick did a little work on the bar, and got most of the soffit enclosed, he had to stop because he ran out of wood. But he's inching his way along and soon I will be very busy doing all that finish work.

This week I have been getting all my doctors visits done, it's that time of year to get all the necessaries. And today, I am having lunch with my youngest daughter and my two grandchildren, for my birthday! That is one of my most favorite things to do at my leisure, plus.......visiting my favorite store in the whole wide world.............Restoration Hardware! I don't buy, I take note, and my creative brain is in a frenzy when I'm in there!

So, as soon as I get all this fun out of my system it will be back to the grind:) I have a project that I am working on that involves a whole lot of technical stuff that I am not good at:( My little brother who is a web designer is trying to teach his technically illiterate sister how to take, download, and post videos to my blog! God help him, and please be patient, I have to work around his schedule. In the meantime I have other things I could be doing, I have too many to count.

But here we are so far with the bar:

What do you think? I love it, he had to enclose the other side and we have to add a little detail but that won't take long. I can't believe it's almost done!

  1. Looks like all it's lacking is a group of friends surrounding it with drinks in their hands! It looks amazing! Soon it will be party time...
