A beautifully distressed mirror!

Just wanted you to know that I can't get that darn entertainment center out of my mind! The one in I called the shop this morning and of course the owner is gone for a week but I told the woman who was working that we were in Saturday and saw the entertainment center and I gave her a counter offer on it. Cash out the door this monday! She is trying to get ahold of the owner and I should know by tomorrow if she'll take the offer! I can't wait! I was telling my daughter about it and she is the one who helped me decide! Apparently, I talked about it so much that she just said,"Mom, you know you have to have it!" So I guess I do! Like I said, it's a little too primitive for my house but that's just one of the things I loved about it. I love the Shabby Chic look and that is one of the things I like about that style, you can mix beautifully distressed furniture with soft colors and chrystal! I will just have to repaint it to make it work for me!

This photo is a little dark, it's dreary out today so I didn't have much light to show it off! You can see that there is a little damage in the upper corner but that's the shabby in me! It will go great with the entertainment center!! Besides it only cost me $20.00!!

I just added a few photos because I think they turned out so pretty!

Note the beautiful roses that my hubby gave me to celebrate our 38th anniversary today! They are so beautiful, a rainbow of colors! Just the right touch to showcase a beautiful mirror!
In the meantime, I got that mirror finished that I found on my entertainment unit hunt and have it in place. This mirror is old and you can tell that someone had painted it several times. There's a hint of gold under the bronze colored paint. I thought it was unique and didn't want to paint over it so I just put an acrylic clear coat on it to keep it from chipping any more. Thought you might like to see it, this will probably go on top of the new entertainment center when I get it! You note that I said WHEN!
