Let the summer scents in when the windows are closed!

Well the dog days of summer are upon us and we are forced to stay inside and try to keep cool. When it's this hot you have to keep windows shut and blinds pulled to keep the hot sun out when all you really want to do is open up the windows and let gentle breezes and summer smells in. I love the smell of fresh cut grass and the smell of my neighbors BBQ. One thing I do in the summer is to light my "summer" candles. Although I haven't run across a candle that smells like a BBQ, I do have candles that satisfy my summer scent cravings! Some of my favorites are "Clean Cotton," "Lilac Blossom,"and an old favorite, "New Mown Hay!" I put my others away for the season like, "Pumpkin Pie," and "Spice Cake" which are great for Fall and my Christmas candle scents: "Home for the Holidays" and "Balsam and Cedar." I love candles and I usually get them from Target, they smell wonderful and are significantly less expensive than the ones sold in candle shops. I am enjoying the smell of  "clean cotton" as I write this:)
