Decorating children's rooms!
It has been a busy week for me, I have been doing the things I need to do and also helping Rick with the bar that he is building in our basement! I haven't had time for much else just trying to get some of this indooor stuff done before the weather gets nice and we won't want to be inside as much! I promised you that I would give you some ideas on how to decorate children's rooms. Whether you have a tiny baby, toddler or a teen there are always great ideas on how to make their rooms extra special! I haven't done too many children's room but I do have a few I can show you that I have done and I will show you ideas that I ran across while surfing the net. The ideas that I will show you are things that you should be able to do on your own. I have helped with my granchildren's rooms and with a lot of input from my daughters, I think they turned out darling! I love decorating children's rooms because the ideas are endless and you can just let your imagination run wild! I am not a big fan of "theme" rooms: Disney, Pooh, Spiderman etc. I think that is the lazy way, sorry, to decorate! And it isn't very cost effective once the childs tastes change or they get a little older. The biggest impact you can give to a room is through paint! Even though the price of paint is getting pretty steep, it is still the best way to bet the most bang for your buck! In the next few weeks I will give you some cost effective ideas for you to try in your own childs room! It is really as easy as painting!
